Perl 5.0 is installed on all of our servers and is included
with this account. There is no need to know the location
of Perl because the Windows 2000 Operating system that
runs our web server uses the file extension to determine
what script is being run. Simply putting your .pl perl
files in your CGI-BIN will make them accessible through
http://yourdomain.com/cgi-bin/script.pl.
FREE "Catch All"
email account
The "catch all" email account is used catch any mail
that does not reach a specific mailbox. If for example
you setup two email accounts for your domain (Sales
& Feedback) and then someone send an email to Info@yourdomain.com
- it will automatically be routed to the "catch all"
account.
NOTE: If you would like, you can turn off the "catch
all" account and mail that does not find a specific
mailbox will be bounced back to the sender.

support for multiple counters from the same script,

404 Error Page
When someone visits a page in your site that does not
exist, a 404 Error is generated by the web server. Usually
this is displayed as a very ugly error message in the
users browser, such as:
ERROR 404. The selected
page could not be found
Kalliopi allows you to customize a 404.asp error page
that is displayed instead making the experience for
your customers a friendly one, even when they visit
a broken link on your site.

DNS Services
All of our accounts include the ability to setup your
own DNS entries in addition to those needed for web

up daily
To ensure data integrity, your site will be backed up
each night. In the event of data loss, your data can

Kalliopi has always had great support for FrontPage.
Starting with support for FrontPage 98, we now support
all versions of FrontPage from 98-2002.
If you use FrontPage to design your site, you will find

The process is completely automated and you will be

Access
FTP Access means that as soon as you finish the application
for a new domain, you can open up your favorite FTP
client and publish your site to our Servers. If you
choose, you can also have the FrontPage server extensions
installed and publish your site with FrontPage.

FREE Guestbook
(Linux Only)
Extropia's WebGuestbook is "configurable so that you
can specify what your guestbook file looks like and
how the script-generated responses are displayed. Most
of the configuration takes little more than a knowledge
of HTML, so it is fairly easy to use. In addition, the
user can select a range of posts based on age in days,
and choose to see."

FREE PHP BBS
(Linux Only)
Its main feature is that "it allows a user to post messages
as well as post replies to existing messages. WebBBS
keeps track of which messages are posts and which ones
are replies and displays them in a hierarchical tree-like
fashion. Posts that start new topics are at the top
of each tree, and the replies are shown indented beneath
the original posts. WebBBS is also fully integrated
with the user authentication library discussed above.
Additionally, it allows a user to restrict the number
of messages through a variety of query mechanisms. The
user can conduct a keyword search and display only those
messages that satisfy the search. The user can also
select a range of dates within which the viewed messages
were posted. For example, a user could choose to see
only messages posted between 6/1/96 and 6/10/96. In
addition, the user can select a range of posts based
on age in days, and choose to see, for example, only
those messages posted between two days ago and four
days ago."
